We charge an hourly rate of $75 per hour for our professional labor and a one time fee $55 for general single use supplies. We recommend using Sherman William paint for your project, If you don’t know what you need to buy or how much of it, just message us. You can also hire us to pick up all the supplies for your project.
To give you an average estimate, it takes about 6-8 hours to complete a standard 12×13 room. That of course can variy by many factors of your room but this applies to most projects in general terms. If you need your ceilings or trim painted the project can take up to 12-16 hours to complete based on the amount and complexity of your trim.
The following steps have to be taken to complete a painting project.
- Prepping the room to protect your floors and or belongings.
- Removing any covers, pictures, and or shelving if necessary
- Cleaning and repairing any imperfections in the wall
- Applying a primer if necessary
- Applying 1-2 coats of the paint of your choice.
- Removing all of our protective materials and doing a final cleaning of our work area.
If a primer has to be used to cover old paint or stains, your project will need to be scheduled over two days so that we can give the primer enough time to dry before applying your paint.
